Day 8 of 365

As I was driving home today I was thinking about my friend and my sister who are both moving this week to different states. It's bittersweet to think of them leaving. They're moving on to new ventures and I won't get to see them as often. My heart was sad. But then I looked up to the sky and saw the thin blanket of clouds attempting to hide the sun and I realized that nothing will ever change the love I have for them. Not even hundreds of miles of distance.

Yeah, I can be corny sometimes.

Day 7 of 365

Everyday when I come home from a long day of work (or play) my Bella greets me at the door. She's the perfect cat. She snuggles with me on the couch and on Saturday mornings when I sleep in and she's super playful. This morning she squeezed herself onto the bathroom window ledge and was staring down a squirrel in the yard next door. I couldn't help but giggle :)

Day 6 of 365

I have a new neighbor that moved in last month and with her she brought new life into the upstairs hallway. I love all the colors of this little guy and each day when I walk out my door I can't help but smile. I do not have a green thumb and tend to abolish any plantlife I bring home, so it is nice to have someone else caring for something so beautiful that I can enjoy :)

Day 5 of 365

Every once in a while I pamper myself. It doesn't happen often, but every few months I go to the salon and get my hair done. I think every woman should take time to relax and induldge. Lovin' my new color :)

Day 4 of 365

What makes me happy in my career? Libraries.

Librarians. Other people who love libraries. Libraries are often times the center of the community, a place for the meeting of minds, spot for free wifi, where many start for job seeking services. You can lose yourself in a book, check out movies and gain access to electronic resources filled with any kind of information you'd ever need. Libraries are pretty cool!

Day 3 of 365

On our way home from the lake we drove through Pinckney which is located right next to Hell. Didn't think it was that close, did ya? Actually, Hell is a beautiful place here in the mitten. There's also a Paradise City, MI in the Upper Peninsula. It's gorgeous there, too. How does this not make you giggle?

Day 2 of 365

We spent the day on Joslin Lake in Gregory, MI and the sun painted the most beautiful colors on the sky. There was a lone sailboat in the water and I ran out to the dock to snap some photos. Simply stunning. I love living in Pure Michigan.
